By accessing or using Richard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

Richard is an AI-powered product that generates text-based responses. Richard is not a real person. The Service is explicitly AI-generated. Nothing produced by the Service constitutes financial, legal, investment, medical, or any other form of professional advice. All content is for informational purposes only. You use the Service at your own risk.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

Free tier users receive 5 messages for the lifetime of their account. Paid tiers are subject to message and token caps as described at the time of purchase.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or harassing
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or rate limiting
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models
  • Resell access to the Service without authorization

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate or suitable for any purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
